¡ya llegaron las celdas solares!

The photovoltaic cells have arrived!

Y junto con ellas llegó la "bomba solar". Se trata de una bomba de agua impulsada con energía eléctrica generada por las celdas solares. Es una maravilla de la tecnología: si hay poco sol, hay poca energía eléctrica. Con poca energía eléctrica la bomba va muy despacio, pero sin quemarse. 

Y viceversa.

And along came the "solar pump". This is a water pump fed with electricity from the photovoltaic cells. This is a marvel of technology: if there is not much sun, there will be low electricity power. With low power level, the pump spins very slowly without burning.

And viceversa.

En un solo control integrado se conecta el sensor de presencia de agua (para que la bomba no trabaje en vacío), así como el sensor de nivel (para que no se derrame el agua del depósito que se quiera llenar).

In one single control box the sensor of water presence can be connected (to avoid the pump from running dry) as well as the level sensor (to avoid overspilling the water receptacle you want to fill).

También llegaron los perfiles de aluminio y los sujetadores para montar las celdas solares sobre su marco. ¡es un sistema muy sencillo de ensamblar!

I also received aluminum profiles and fasteners to mount the photovoltaic cells to their frame. This is a very easy to assemble system!

Inmediatamente me dedico a diseñar los detalles del sistema de bomba y alimentación fotovoltaica-solar.

I start immediately designing the details of the pump-photovoltaic solar feed system.

Y por supuesto comienzo el ensamble de la tubería.

And of course I start the piping.
